The main keynote speech was delivered by Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and Vice-Premier of the State Council. Over 2,000 enterprises from more than 50 countries participated in the exhibition.
On 12 September, Yidu Tech, as the core ecosystem partner of the national pilot base for AI applications in the medical field (hereinafter the “Pilot Base”), actively participated in a number of achievement announcements and displays, effectively driving the transformation of AI healthcare technologies and the high-quality development of the industry.
Strategic Collaboration: Yidu Tech & the Pilot Base — Co-building an AI Healthcare Innovation Ecosystem
In line with the “Healthy China” strategy and the “Artificial Intelligence +” initiative, Beijing officially launched the construction of the national AI application pilot base in the medical field during the 2025 CIFTIS. The Pilot Base focuses on precision diagnosis & treatment and biopharmaceutical manufacturing, forming a full-process service ecosystem for these domains, and establishing an innovation paradigm for intelligent research & application in the medical field.
As a core ecosystem partner of the Pilot Base, Yidu Tech deeply engaged in platform construction and scenario innovation, advancing the rollout of several benchmark projects:
By leveraging medical large-model technology, Yidu Tech developed a region-level AI agent for subject recruitment, vastly improving recruitment efficiency and precision for clinical trials — addressing the core pain point of slow and difficult subject recruitment — and already validated in six projects.
Yidu Tech also developed a Beijing municipal AI application plugin programme, which consolidates multiple AI applications via a unified entry point, significantly easing the burden of operations and system integration for healthcare institution users.
During the “AI + Healthcare & Wellness” seminar at CIFTIS, the following attended and delivered remarks:
National Health Commission Planning & Development and Information Technology Division Director-General Zhuang Ning
Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Municipal Government Xu Xinchao
Secretary of the Party Committee of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission Zhong Dongbo
President of the Beijing Medical Association Feng Guosheng
Also present: Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission Yan Jin, Director of the Beijing Health Big Data & Policy Research Center Guo Moning, and many academicians, experts and scholars in the AI medical‐health field. Yidu Tech and the Pilot Base jointly released innovation achievements, injecting strong momentum into Beijing’s AI, medical research & development and biopharmaceutical industry development.
Achievement Releases: From Precision Diagnosis to Drug Development — AI Empowering Healthcare Quality & Efficiency
1. Precision Diagnosis Domain – Achievement Release
At the Pilot Base’s achievement release in the precision diagnosis domain, the AI Application Promotion Service was officially launched. Yidu Tech co-founder and CEO Xu Jiming and Peking University First Hospital Vice President Yang Li, Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital Vice President Zhang Ping, Director He Yihua of the Cardiac Ultrasound Medicine Centre & Fetal Cardiology Centre at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Deputy General Manager Zhu Yanchun of Beijing Medical University Model Company, Liu Jinglei, General Manager of China Unicom Health & Medical Business Division, and representatives of 13 organisations jointly witnessed this moment.

The AI Application Promotion Service builds on the AI application plugin programme deeply integrated with medical institution business systems, creating an efficient channel for cross-hospital core information interconnection & sharing. Crucially, the plugin developed by Yidu Tech avoids each AI application individually interfacing and installing with medical institutions, thereby avoiding duplicate manpower investment, significantly reducing user operational and system-running burden, and markedly shortening the AI application go-live cycle. This innovative model spans the medical service process, providing medical care staff with more continuous, accessible, precise and efficient diagnostic and treatment support, enhancing patient experience and satisfaction. Several AI applications have already been successfully launched via the unified plugin, concretely helping improve quality and efficiency of diagnosis & treatment.
2. Drug Development Domain – Achievement Release
At the Pilot Base’s achievement release in the drug development domain, the CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System) was formally unveiled. Yidu Tech co-founder & CEO Xu Jiming, the Information & Big Data Division Director Deng Kai of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, Director Jiang Min of the National Drug Clinical Trial Institution Office at Peking University Cancer Hospital, Secretary Zhang Meiling of the National Drug Clinical Trial Institution Office at the Affiliated Beijing You Yi Hospital of Capital Medical University, and Wang Hua, Head of Intelligent Clinical Trials at Gaobo Medical Group jointly witnessed the release.

The system, jointly developed by Yidu Tech and Peking University Cancer Hospital, is a full-chain intelligent management platform for medical institutions, compliant with GCP standards, offering a one-stop solution from project initiation to conclusion, enabling standardisation of clinical research processes, data visualisation and fine-grained management. It constitutes a critical component of the Pilot Base’s “drug discovery – pre-clinical research – clinical trials – market approval” full-process service ecosystem, aiding drug development to achieve intelligent transformation and full-process efficiency gains.
To date, the CTMS has been implemented in 56 renowned hospitals nationwide. Taking Peking University Cancer Hospital as an example, through the system, parallel processes and full-cycle control were realised, reducing average project initiation time to within 15 weeks — significantly below the industry average — showing considerable value in quality and efficiency improvement.
Exhibition Highlights: Yidu Tech’s Multiple Products Attract Attention, Intelligent Recruitment Platform Becomes Focal Point
At the CIFTIS exhibition zone, Yidu Tech showcased both the “CTMS Clinical Trial Management System” and the “Intelligent Clinical Trial Subject Recruitment & Feasibility Analysis Platform,” attracting many attendees for detailed exchanges and inquiries.
Among them, the “Intelligent Clinical Trial Subject Recruitment & Feasibility Analysis Platform” stood out. This platform innovatively combines artificial intelligence and large-model technology to build an intelligent recruitment system that effectively tackles the challenges of difficult subject recruitment and slow enrolment in clinical research: it quickly generates patient distribution and characteristic profiles, supports clinical feasibility analysis and site selection; after project kick-off, it intelligently parses inclusion/exclusion criteria, accurately identifies multi-dimensional indicators, efficiently matches potential subjects based on informed consent, and via real-time physician–patient interaction further enhances recruitment efficiency. The platform is already cooperating with several well-known pharmaceutical companies, improving subject recruitment accuracy from the traditional 25% to 85%, and estimated to shorten tumour clinical trial cycles by 20%. In one stem-cell drug clinical study, 45 patients were precisely recommended and the project significantly accelerated.

Yidu Tech has long been deeply involved in the AI healthcare field, using data-intelligence technologies to help improve medical efficiency and quality. As of 31 March 2025, its core algorithm engine YiduCore covers 4,000 hospitals, its intelligent solutions have been deployed in over 110 well-known research-oriented medical institutions, its self-developed AI middle-platform has been successfully implemented in more than 30 well-known domestic hospitals, and its full-lifecycle solution for pharmaceuticals & devices has helped complete over 400 clinical studies.
Xu Jiming stated that in the future, Yidu Tech will continue to deepen strategic collaboration with the Pilot Base, fully leverage its technological accumulation and industry practice experience, join hands to build a globally influential innovation source, application high-ground and industry ecosystem cluster in the medical-health AI domain, and contribute to the Healthy China construction.
